Did you see the naked bernina at road to california quilt show!  It's now at our shop.  Stop by and see the what the Bernina 830 looks like with no clothes on -- the case has been removed and you can see what's inside this remarkable machine.  We will also happily demonstrate how a complete machine works.

QUILTS of VALOR  "SEW  IN"

We would like to thank everyone who participated in our first "Quilts of Valor" event!   We are also a "drop-off" point for your QoV quilts and other donations. We will see that Barbara from So Cal QoV gets them.

Hoop Club - 2nd Wednesday of the month 6:30-8:30pm - Lots of sharing and demo/lecture of new ideas and machine embroidery techniques with Diane Pagenkopp and Vicky Hommerding

Happy Hooper Club - 3rd Saturday of the month 10am-1pm (NO MEETING IN JANUARY, 2010).  This club meets the third Saturday of the month, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, at least ten months of the year. The Happy Hooper Club is all embroidery. Learn new techniques, unusual fibers and great projects. Finish Your Quilt - Jan 30 10am-4pm $30 with Jan Raymond   I pieced the top… now what:  Once you make a quilt top there are do  zens of choices to make for making your top into a quilt. What kind of batting, how to baste, which method of quilting just to name a few. This lecture and demo class will answer these and many, many more questions you may have about finishing your quilts.   more info

Beginning Quilting, Quilt 101 - Jan 27, Feb 3, 10, 17  - 10am-1pm   4 classes for $60 with Jan Raymond.  Learn to make a wonderful quilt in just a four sessions. You will learn how to read a pattern and to cut with a rotary cutter. Then sew an accurate quarter inch seam. Learn block placement, how to sew blocks into rows and rows into a quilt top. Quilting is fun and easy once you learn a few basic rules.  Join our class if you are beginner that has never sewn before of if you have made a quilt or two and want to improve your skills.  more info
